On this guided two-day tour, you can explore the rich diversity of farming in West Cork – the focal point for modern Irish food production. You’ll visit three award-winning farms to learn about dairy production, raising pigs, and the different ways families have found to farm sustainably on the edge of Europe.
We’ll find time to visit some of the historic sites in the area too. Over the two days, you’ll gain an insight into farming life and the famous characters shaped by the land on this stretch of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. Your tour takes in history and culture, as well as intriguing insights how delicious West Cork food makes its way from farm to plate!
