We offer guided tours of real, working farms in West Cork, Ireland. Our tours are led by the farmers themselves and give visitors a personal insight into Irish rural life, sustainable farming, and the beautiful West Cork landscape.
Yes! All of our tours take place on operational farms. You’ll experience everyday farm life as it really is—authentic, unscripted, and engaging.
Planning Your Visit
Our tours run from spring through autumn (typically April to October). Each season offers something different:
- Spring: new life and calving season
- Summer: green fields and long, warm days
- Autumn: rich colours and harvest activities
We recommend booking in advance—especially in the summer months when demand is highest.
Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. As this is an outdoor experience, we suggest:
- Waterproof jacket
- Layers (Irish weather can change quickly!)
- Sturdy footwear – walking shoes or boots are ideal. Please avoid open-toed shoes or heels.
Getting Here
Our farms are located in Rosscarbery, West Cork—just off the Wild Atlantic Way. You’ll receive the exact address and directions when your booking is confirmed.
- By Car: Easily accessible from Cork City (approx. 1.5 hours) with ample parking.
- By Public Transport: Buses run to nearby towns, and a taxi can complete the journey.
- If you’re part of a tour group, your organiser may include transport.
Yes. Please let us know in advance if your group is arriving by coach so we can ensure parking and access are arranged.
Accessibility
We aim to make our tours as accessible as possible, but please note this is a working farm with uneven ground and some slopes.
- We can adapt the route for mobility needs—please contact us in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
- Accessible parking and toilet facilities are available.
- Carers are welcome to accompany guests at no additional charge.
